In 1998 the stand alone export houses of Fox and Lillie Pty Ltd, and Lempriere (Australia) Pty Ltd, decided to join their direct buying divisions, to form Lempriere Fox and Lillie Pty Ltd (LFL). This amalgamation broadened their reach throughout southern and eastern Australia, enabling them to procure a greater share of the clip. LFL is now a major wool broker and grower service provider, offering a variety of services and direct buying options to wool growers. This business is managed by Mr Jonathan Lillie. LFL works closely with Fox and Lillie to supply the needs of both their clients, and those of Fox and Lillie.

In 2003 LFL decided to take over an existing Argentine wool exporting operation. Managed by Mr Claudio Ulrich, this business, Lempriere Fox and Lillie S.A., has flourished under its new owners, and exports around 4 million clean kilos per annum.

This highly respected company buys directly from woolgrowers in Argentina, and sells greasy, scoured and wool tops to countries throughout the world.
