The AWEX EMI finished at 1092¢, 9¢ lower (-0.8%) in Australian currency and 20¢ lower (-2.3%) in US currency at sales
in Sydney, Melbourne / Launceston and Fremantle this week.
52,021 bales were on offer nationally, compared with 45,398 bales last sale. 13.0% of the offering was passed in. It was a
bigger offering than originally expected due to the significant rises in the market over the two previous sales.
