Two students, Emily McErvale and Hayley Hart from Longerenong College have been awarded the Fox & Lillie Rural 2017/2018 scholarship, which comprised of two student scholarships worth $5,000 each.
It is the second consecutive year that Fox & Lillie has offered scholarships at Longerenong College which are aimed at providing students with financial assistance towards their tuition fees over the two-year course.
Fox & Lillie Rural’s managing director Jonathan Lillie said, “the decision to offer student scholarships at a tertiary level is part of our ongoing commitment to the industry, encouraging young people who are looking to fulfil a career in the agriculture industry, and in particular wool.”
