A Wool Study Tour by Fox & Lillie Rural for the Wool Enthusiast
We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to visit Italy and France from September 5-18 2014, with a stopover in Singapore to visit to the newest wool processing plant in the world. Over 13 days, this trip will take you from wool mills to fashion events, and everything in between, whilst soaking up the rich and vibrant culture offered by Italy and France.
In Italy we will visit Worsted and Woollen Mills and wool users and discover the historical basis for Northern Italy being a key driver for merino wool’s position at the forefront of the best clothing and fabrics available in the world. We will experience the factors now keeping these businesses relevant and viable in the face of a changing global manufacturing environment.
We will incorporate a visit to Milano Unica- an international textile fair – created through the vast experience, fine quality and tradition of four prestigious Italian exhibitions, Ideabiella, Ideacomo, Moda In, Shirt Avenue. This fair presents the finest quality products from both Italian and European textile manufacturers.
Italy

Costings are based on minimum 20 delegates travelling. Should the number fall below 20, the study tour may be re- costed. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars.
