We are pleased to announce that Goodas Wool in Inverell, New South Wales has joined the Fox & Lillie Rural business.
Both family owned and operated, Fox & Lillie Rural and Goodas Wool have an extended and successful history of business, so the acquisition was a natural fit.
Fox & Lillie Rural’s managing director, Jonathan Lillie said “we have a longstanding relationship with Goodas Wool so we believe it was a logical progression to take the business over.”
“We anticipate that there are trying times ahead due to the difficult drought conditions, but with Scott’s experience we believe the store will continue to operate at reasonable levels until conditions improve.”
Scott Hallam and his team will continue to operate the store under the Fox & Lillie Rural banner and woolgrowers can expect to continue to receive the high-quality wool buying services that they’ve become accustomed to and more.
Fox & Lillie Rural’s parent company, Fox & Lillie Australia is one of the top two wool buyers in Australia which provides woolgrowers with important network benefits and access to global markets.
Scott Hallam said “we’re really happy to be involved with Fox & Lillie Rural and partner with a leading exporter. This will provide more options for our woolgrowers to market their wool and ultimately, add value to your business and drive up the bottom line of your sheep operation.”
Fox & Lillie Rural and Scott Hallam look forward to working with local woolgrowers to deliver healthy returns and better marketing opportunities for their sheep enterprise.
